In today’s world, digital signal processors (DSPs) are finding ever increasing use in diverse areas of electrical engineering, such as automotive monitoring and control, hi-fi audio components, telephony, wireless, DSL, radar, remote sensing, etc. This course compliments the lecture courses on DSP and communications by providing hands-on experience in practical development of a communications system using DSPs. Note that although the focus is DSP in this course, many of the concepts learned also applied to embedded development, which is also becoming increasingly important in our electronic world!
